Infrastructure

CTI is advocating for the reduction of electricity tariff rate, reduction of time taken to

clear goods from ports, and improvement of central line railways

Advocacy on Infrastructure

Efficient functioning of members of CTI largely depends on hard infrastructures such as electricity, water, roads, railways and ports.

Though the government has been working very hard to invest in the hard infrastructure, a lot more effort is needed to improve these infrastructures to enable the industries to function effectively and efficiently. CTI is advocating on the following areas:

for the reduction of electricity tariff rate, reduction of time taken to clear goods from ports, and improvement of central line railways. Improvement on the availability of water for industrial use is another area where CTI is working on.
