1. The Exporter makes an application of Precious minerals and samples export permit from Ministry of Minerals.

 The exporter submits export permit application form and other
accompanied documents to the Commisional for Minerals
 The documents are reviewed and if meet requirements the
export permit is issued

 Export Permit for Minerals from Gem Trade Fair: non-residents are
permitted to export minerals obtained from a Gem Trade Fair in
Tanzania after payment of fees and royalty, The Commissioner for
Minerals as per Form MTF 18 grants an Export Permit for Minerals from
Gem Trade Fair.
 Tanzania Kimberley Process Certificate: In the case of diamonds, every
Export Permit for diamonds has to be accompanied by a Tanzania
Kimberley Process Certificate granted by the Kimberley Process
authorized officer from the Tanzania Kimberley Process Office under the
Commissioner for Minerals.
